1、 Working principle

The top mounted powder spray filter cartridge is the core filtering element of the powder spray recycling system, which is installed by top lifting and maintenance is completed from the top of the equipment. The powder spraying operation generates a dusty airflow carrying powder, which enters the outside of the filter cartridge under negative pressure. The airflow passes through the filter material of the filter cartridge, and the powder dust is intercepted on the outer surface of the filter cartridge. Clean air enters the inside of the filter cartridge through the filter material and is discharged upward to the equipment air duct. The equipment is equipped with a pulse blowback mechanism, which sprays compressed air from the top of the filter cartridge into the cylinder, generating an instantaneous shock wave that shakes off the accumulated powder on the outer wall of the filter cartridge. The fallen powder falls into the lower material bin, achieving powder recycling and reuse. The top mounted structure can prevent dust from falling downwards during disassembly and assembly, reducing secondary dust pollution. A support frame is installed inside the filter cartridge to prevent the filter material from being deformed due to negative pressure suction. The sealing cover ensures the sealing of the top interface and prevents dusty airflow from escaping directly through short circuit without filtration. The entire filter cartridge, combined with a pulse control system, periodically completes the filtration and ash cleaning cycle, continuously maintaining the filtration efficiency and ensuring stable negative pressure inside the powder spraying room.

3、 Application scope

The top mounted powder filter cartridge solves the problem of dust spillage and severe on-site pollution during the replacement of traditional side mounted filter cartridges. It relies on the top disassembly form to reduce the dust hazards during maintenance operations and is widely used in powder coating recycling systems. Widely used in powder coating of construction machinery, rail transit components, tank workpieces, automotive parts, hardware chassis, and agricultural machinery parts production lines. During the powder spraying process, a large amount of overspray powder needs to be recycled. The filter cartridge captures the scattered powder, and the recycled powder can be sieved and reused in production to reduce coating consumption.
